STAGE 2 BUILD OVERVIEW
This Stage 2 diesel transmission is designed for customers who require more
strength and durability than a stock or Stage 1 rebuild while maintaining
excellent street manners. It is ideal for towing, daily driving, and moderately
modified diesel trucks operating under increased load.
Stage 2 focuses on increased clutch holding capacity, improved hydraulic control,
and durability upgrades to better manage diesel torque under load.
This is not a race or competition transmission.
POWER & TORQUE RATING
This Stage 2 A618 / 47RE transmission is rated for
up to approximately 500–550 horsepower and
up to approximately 950–1,050 lb-ft of torque,
depending on vehicle configuration, engine tuning, and supporting components.
Designed for towing, daily driving, and mild performance upgrades requiring
increased holding capacity over stock and Stage 1 builds.

• 3-Year Limited Warranty for vehicles under 11,000 GVWR
• 18-Month Limited Warranty for vehicles 11,000 GVWR and over
