STAGE 2 BUILD OVERVIEW
This Stage 2 diesel transmission is engineered for customers who require more
strength and durability than a Stage 1 rebuild while maintaining dependable
street manners. It is ideal for towing, daily driving, and moderately modified
diesel trucks operating under increased load and torque.
Stage 2 focuses on improved clutch holding capacity, upgraded servos, enhanced
hydraulic control, and durability upgrades designed to manage diesel torque
without stepping into billet or competition-only components.
POWER & TORQUE RATING
This Stage 2 A618 / 48RE transmission is rated for
up to approximately 550–600 horsepower and
up to approximately 1,050–1,150 lb-ft of torque,
depending on vehicle configuration, engine tuning, and supporting components.
Designed for towing, daily driving, and mild performance upgrades requiring
increased holding capacity over stock and Stage 1 builds.

24-Month Limited Warranty.
Warranty coverage applies to workmanship and materials only and is contingent upon
proper installation, engine tuning, transmission cooling, and supporting drivetrain
components. Abuse, improper tuning, or inadequate cooling may void warranty coverage.
