This 4L80E extreme-duty transmission is engineered for four-digit horsepower
applications requiring maximum internal strength, billet rotating components,
and race-oriented hydraulic control.
This build is intended for customers who have exceeded the limits of standard
performance and heavy-duty 4L80E transmissions and require a fully fortified,
application-specific unit.
This transmission is not intended for casual street use.
This is a built-to-order extreme-duty transmission.

Torque Converter Requirement
Torque converter not included.
A properly matched race-grade torque converter is required at this power level.
Converter selection must be based on engine output, torque curve, power adders,
vehicle weight, gearing, tire size, and intended use.
Incorrect torque converter selection can result in failure and is not
warranty eligible.
Cooling & Tuning Requirements
- External auxiliary transmission cooler required
- High-capacity cooling system mandatory for extreme-duty use
- Proper ECU / TCM tuning required
- Transmission must be calibrated to match engine output and application
