Transmission Depot, operating as Twisted Torque Inc., is a U.S.–based transmission remanufacturer with more than 30 years of professional experience. Originally founded as Dan’s Auto over 45 years ago, our company has grown from a small local shop into a nationally recognized provider of high-quality remanufactured transmissions, converters, and drivetrain components.

In 2022, we expanded into a larger facility in Port Richey, Florida, increasing our production capabilities and meeting rising nationwide demand for reliable, American-built remanufactured transmissions.

A True In-House Remanufacturing Facility

Unlike many online resellers, every unit we offer is remanufactured in our own facility — not sourced from outside rebuilders or junkyard suppliers. Each transmission is completely disassembled, cleaned, inspected, machined as needed, upgraded with improved components, and reassembled by a Certified Transmission Specialist.
